To intrinsically motivate myself, I always try to link any project to something I’m genuinely interested in it helps me stay engaged and inspired throughout the process. As a massive music fan, this was really easy for this particular assignment, where I had to create a silent music video. I chose Stylo by Gorillaz, a song and band that I’ve loved for years.

The concept was to capture the energy and atmosphere of Stylo without relying on the sound of music itself. A silent music video is something more done for comedy but I thought I could give it more of an action movie spin.

Working on something inspired by Gorillaz was especially meaningful to me. Their music videos have always blended animation, live action, and surreal storytelling in ways that feel both experimental and iconic. Trying to echo even a fraction of that style felt like a fun challenge and a tribute to something that has influenced me for a long time.
